I entered the Breach in ~ 2015, during wave 2 of M2e. My first few masters included Kaeris, Ramos, Nicodem and Spirit Molly, with which I bullied my local scene in Auckland, New Zealand. With my beloved Ramos and Nicodem receiving the Dead Man's Hand treatment, and Spirit Molly being butchered in the transition to M3e, I was lukewarm on Malifaux for a while, waiting for something new and shiny to catch my eye. When the Explorer's Society were announced, and I saw the artwork of Calypso posted, I was all in; I knew I would play this faction and this model, no matter what. Explorer's indeed regenerated my love for the game; fast forward to today, and true to form, I'm a fanatic 'Teal Legionaire', with a particular fondness for Maxine, Lord Cooper, and of course, Calypso. I enjoy playing at both highly competitive and casual levels, alternative game modes such as Doubles, and fostering community growth. Interests outside of Faux include gym, hiking, rock climbing, Warhammer 40k (I am a Dark Eldar and Chaos Space Marines enjoyer), board games, vodka, cricket and rugby (I'm a frothing, unrepentant Springboks fan, as I hail from South Africa).
